International Courses at C.A.I. :


1. Basic First Aid & Sport Injury Care - 2-day course:

This course is a basic introduction to standard first aid assessments and treatments. Topics include: Check-Call-Care (ABCs), Level A CPR, Shock, Secondary Survey, Breathing and Circulation Emergencies, Allergic Reactions, Stroke, Bleeding, CPR and First Aid Kits. Basic Sport injuries and care.

2. Emergency First Aid – 3-day course:

Serious Injury casualty care is the foundation for the delivery of unconventional casualty care in hostile environments .This program can be instructed to all security and law enforcement and they do not require extensive medical training. The course will give each team member the basic skill set to manage traumatic injuries. The course will focus on the following areas: Open and Manage a Casualty's Airway, Bleeding Control & Blood stoppers, Treatment of weapon Injuries, Burns & Gunshot wounds,

3. Emergency Incident Technician and Medic – 5-day course:

This includes firefighting, safety and risk evaluation for events, and professional jobs.
It is a comprehensive program that incorporates practical scenario application. The primary focus will be on the management of traumatic injuries that a casualty may suffer in a hostile environment.
Also, safe evacuation and transport in an extreme crisis.

Topics will include: Basic human anatomy, Baseline vitals, Patient assessments, Airway management, Critical field interventions, Environmental emergencies, Shock, Soft tissue care, Chest and head trauma.

Note: This course is modeled after Advanced First Aid and Emergency Medical Technician Training, Event Management, Emergency Management and Disaster Management type Programs. Special medical certifications may be required in some countries. If you are not certified, or out of you jurisdiction of certification, ( on assignment, travel ), providing non drug, non invasive, non surgical life-saving procedures and standard, proper life saving emergency care is usually legal and protected under "Good Samaritan" type laws.
